Job summary

Intellisense Systems, Inc. is seeking a Principal RF Test Engineer to lead RF/microwave test strategies for aerospace and defense systems, coordinating across RF, electrical, systems, software, and manufacturing teams.

You will design, develop, and qualify automated test solutions, mentor engineers, and drive test discipline across programs from development through production and customer acceptance in a onsite Torrance environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, RF/Microwave field or closely related discipline.
• Typically 10+ years of RF, microwave, or system test engineering experience.
• Hands-on experience testing RF/microwave hardware and systems.
• Strong RF fundamentals: S-parameters, impedance matching, gain, noise figure, harmonics, phase noise.

Responsibilities

• Lead RF and microwave test activities for development, integration, qualification, verification, and production programs.
• Develop test plans, procedures, and acceptance criteria based on system requirements.
• Design, develop, and validate RF test setups for modules and integrated systems.
• Perform RF characterization: gain, noise figure, frequency response, output power, linearity, harmonics.
