Job summary

STR seeks a Principal Engineer to develop state-of-the-art algorithms for RF sensing, sensor decision-making, and autonomous electronic warfare. You will lead projects and proposal efforts, advise researchers, and collaborate with customers to address national security needs.

You will architect advanced RF sensing and EW algorithms from concept to prototype, mentor junior team members, and transition technologies from research into operational systems.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship with ability to obtain security clearance.
• 8–12+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience leading radar/EW programs and multi-disciplinary teams.
• Proficient in MATLAB, Python and C/C++.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities
