Job summary

Analogic in New Hampshire is seeking an experienced manufacturing assembler to assemble, repair, troubleshoot, inspect, and test complex medical equipment and subassemblies.

You will read schematics, interpret work instructions, and collaborate with Engineering to resolve issues while mentoring junior staff and upholding safety and quality standards. This role offers opportunities to lead production improvement initiatives and contribute to life-saving medical technologies.

Qualifications

  • 6+ years of mechanical and electromechanical assembly experience.
  • Ability to read engineering drawings, schematics, and work instructions.
  • Experience with testing, diagnostics, and repair of complex assemblies.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
  • SAP and/or Agile experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble, repair, troubleshoot, inspect, and test complex medical equipment and subassemblies.
  • Build and service high-voltage power supplies, RF modules, combiners, capacitor banks, gradient amplifiers, wiring harnesses, and liquid-cooled assemblies.
  • Interpret engineering drawings, schematics, wire lists, work instructions, and engineering changes.
  • Perform diagnostics and testing activities and partner with Engineering to resolve product issues.
  • Train, mentor, and support less-experienced assemblers.
  • Maintain compliance with quality, safety, PPE, ESD, and hazardous material requirements.
  • Help drive production, repair, quality, and delivery goals.
  • Prioritize work assignments and support daily production schedules.
  • Coordinate materials, inventory, and workflow to ensure on-time completion.
  • Lead and participate in 6S and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Coordinate cross-training efforts and support employee development.
  • Provide day-to-day guidance, coaching, and support to team members.

Job description

What You Bring
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 6+ years of mechanical, electromechanical assembly, repair, or related manufacturing experience.
  • Ability to perform complex assembly, troubleshooting, teardown, and repair with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, diagrams, and work instructions.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and proficiency with hand and power tools.
  • SAP and/or Agile experience preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
