Job summary

Kreg Therapeutics is seeking a detail-oriented Assembler in Melrose Park, IL to join our manufacturing team. You will build high-quality medical devices by following established work instructions and collaborating with Leads and Supervisors to support safety, quality, and productivity goals.

Responsibilities include reading blueprints, setting up equipment, performing multiple assembly processes, documenting production data, and escalating quality concerns as needed.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of three years of hands-on assembly experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Experience reading blueprints, drawings, and technical instructions.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and engineers in one-on-one and small group settings.
  • Ability to read, understand, and follow written instructions and short communications.
  • Basic computer skills and the ability to enter production or work order information into company systems.
  • Authorization to work in the United States.
  • Ability to successfully pass a criminal background check and drug screening.

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Assembler to join our manufacturing team. What You'll Bring

Required Qualifications

Skills & Abilities


  • Proficiency using common hand tools.

  • Experience with grinding and soldering is preferred.

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Willingness to work overtime based on business needs.


Physical & Work Environment Requirements


  • Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.

  • Ability to stand, bend, and perform repetitive motions for extended periods throughout the workday, with or without reasonable accommodation.
