Myticas Consulting Inc. in McLean, Virginia seeks a Senior RF Antenna Systems Engineer to lead development, integration, and validation of advanced user terminal antennas for broadband and satellite communications.

This full-time, direct-hire role is on-site five days a week. You will drive antenna architecture, system performance, supplier collaboration, and product qualification while coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative antenna solutions for fixed and mobile

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Physics, or related technical discipline.
Minimum of five (5) years of antenna systems/RF engineering experience.
Experience designing, integrating, testing, or evaluating antenna systems and RF hardware.
Experience with electronically steerable antennas for satellite, land mobile, aeronautical, maritime, and fixed applications.

Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and verify technical requirements for advanced user terminal antenna systems.
Define and verify performance requirements for fixed, mobile, and transportable terminals.
Support certification, regulatory compliance, and product approval processes.
Perform system-level modeling, analysis, and simulation to optimize antenna performance and efficiency.
Evaluate new antenna technologies and recommend design improvements.
Lead supplier design reviews, evaluate vendor solutions, and manage product development activities.
Provide technical leadership across multidisciplinary teams throughout the lifecycle.
Develop and execute antenna characterization, validation, and verification test plans.
Analyze performance from laboratory and field measurements to validate design objectives.
Collaborate with systems, RF, hardware, software, and manufacturing teams for integration.
Monitor developments in phased-array and ESA technologies and contribute to roadmaps.
Support customer engagements and proposal development with SME input.
Communicate complex engineering concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Lead teams and manage work packages with schedule and cost objectives.
