Job summary

K2 Space is seeking an experienced RF/microwave engineer to design and validate antenna systems for state-of-the-art satellites. You will prototype with a multidisciplinary team spanning antenna, RF, FPGA, DSP, software, and mechanical engineers to push performance in space missions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• 8+ years in microwave/RF/antenna engineering.
• Experience with RF test equipment and environmental testing.
• Ability to work in fast-paced startup atmosphere.

Responsibilities

• Lead research, design, and procurement of antenna systems.
• Qualify RF hardware through environmental testing, including vibration, shock, thermal, and TVAC.
• Assist with design and validation testing for RF/microwave hardware from UHF through Ka band.
• Execute development and production tests to meet internal and external customer needs.
• Collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders to integrate designs into the spacecraft system.
