Job summary

Dollar General is seeking a capable Cashier/Stocker with leadership responsibilities in the absence of store management. You will unload trucks, stock and rotate merchandise, build displays, greet customers, and assist with plan‑o‑gram implementation to improve store profitability and customer satisfaction.

You will also manage register operations, provide exemplary service, and help maintain a safe, clean, and organized store environment while following company procedures and safeguarding

Qualifications

• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations (addition, subtraction, percentages).
• Knowledge of cash handling procedures and deposit control.
• Ability to operate cash registers and scanners.
• Understanding of safety and stock control policies.
• Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Ability to read and follow plan-o-gram guidance.
