• Math skills for basic calculations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and percentages).
• Cash handling procedures including cashier accountability and deposit control.
• Ability to operate IBM cash register functions.
• Knowledge of cash, facility and safety control policies and practices.
• Strong interpersonal and written/spoken communication skills.
• Understanding of plan-o-gram and merchandise presentation guidance.
• Experience or ability to supervise in absence of store leadership.

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks according to the store process.
• Receive, open and unpack cartons and totes.
• Stock merchandise and rotate on shelves; build displays.
• Restock returned merchandise.
• Order zones and drops per Store Manager guidance.
• Assist in plan-o-gram implementation and maintenance.
• Assist customers by locating merchandise.
• Keep store clean and organized; manage front-end cleanliness and displays.
• Greet customers; operate register and bag merchandise.
• Collect payment, make change, and finalize purchases.
• Ensure cash drawer accountability and secure cash; monitor cameras when applicable.
• Open/close the store under Area Manager direction.
