Job summary

Dollar General Corporation is seeking a Customer Service–Lead Cashier/Stocker in Knoxville. You will assist in plan-o-gram setup, manage stock, and deliver outstanding customer service while protecting assets.

In the absence of store leadership, you authorize refunds and oversee cash handling and paperwork with a focus on profitability and teamwork. You must have a high school diploma or equivalent and ideally six months of supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks and stock merchandise, rotate and face shelves, and build displays.
• Assist in plan-o-gram implementation and maintenance and help customers.
• Operate cash register to itemize and total purchases; collect payments and make change.
• Maintain store cleanliness, safety, and secure cash handling in absence of managers.
• Open/close the store under direction of Area Manager and support loss prevention.
