Dollar General Corporation seeks a Cashier/Stocker with leadership responsibilities in the absence of store management. You will assist in plan-o-gram setup, maintain displays, and deliver excellent customer service while protecting assets and reducing losses.

Responsibilities include unloading trucks, stocking, ringing up sales, and maintaining a clean, safe store environment. The role emphasizes cash handling accuracy, teamwork, and following SOPs as outlined in employee materials.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and six months of supervisory experience (or related experience/training) preferred.
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations and handle cash accurately.
• Familiarity with plan-o-grams and merchandise presentation guidance.

Responsabilités

• Unload trucks following store procedures.
• Receive, open, and unpack cartons and totes.
• Stock, rotate, and display merchandise; restock returned items.
• Assist in plan-o-gram implementation and maintenance.
• Greet customers and locate merchandise; operate the cash register and POS hardware.
• Process payments and provide accurate change; maintain front-end cleanliness and organization.
• Ensure cashier accountability and security procedures in absence of store management.
• Open/close store under area manager direction.
