Job summary

Absolute Clean and Restoration Inc. in Belleville, IL seeks a motivated Crew Chief to lead restoration crews on residential and commercial emergency losses, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to IICRC standards while providing exceptional customer service.

This position requires a leader who can motivate technicians, communicate with customers and insurance professionals, accurately document projects, and maintain high-quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years restoration industry experience.
• WRT certificate is required; AMRT preferred.
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Ability to lift 75 pounds regularly.
• Flexibility for evenings, weekends, holidays, and on-call rotation.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise restoration technicians on all projects.
• Train and mentor new employees.
• Assign daily tasks and ensure timely completion.
• Maintain a positive, professional work environment.
• Ensure adherence to safety procedures and company policies.
• Perform emergency water extraction and monitor drying equipment.
• Conduct smoke and soot cleaning and set up containment areas.
• Construct containment areas for mold remediation and remove contaminated materials.
• Complete accurate job documentation and take before/after photos.
• Explain restoration processes to customers and maintain professional communication.
