Job summary
ServiceMaster of Rochester is seeking a Project Manager - Restoration and Insurance Claims to lead restoration projects for residential and commercial clients. This working manager role combines hands-on restoration duties with project oversight.
You will supervise crews, interact with customers, prepare estimates, coordinate with insurance adjusters, and ensure timelines meet company guidelines. After hours and weekend assignments may apply with higher compensation.
Qualifications
- Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
- Criminal background check required
- Background in disaster restoration or related field preferred
- IICRC certifications preferred
- Experience managing teams
Responsibilities
- Lead, manage and work with restoration technicians on multiple jobs
- Interact with customers, develop scope of work and work plans
- Complete insurance company paperwork and digital documentation
- Prepare and review estimates for new and existing jobs
- Coordinate with insurance adjusters, agents and insureds daily
- Meet insurance company guidelines and timelines
- Perform and manage fire/smoke/odor cleaning and mitigation
- Document all fire/smoke/odor jobs per guidelines
- Oversee other cleaning duties when part of mitigation or restoration jobs
