Job summary

Vail Resorts is hiring for winter 2026/27 across multiple roles including cooks, drivers, instructors and more. Starting wage ranges from $21.50 to $26.88 per hour with full-time hours during the winter season. Housing is available and prior restaurant or guest service experience is valued.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Previous restaurant, supervisory or guest service experience preferred.
• Ability to stand and walk continuously for up to 8 hours.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work well with others in a fast-paced environment under pressure.
• Must be able to communicate fluently in English.

Responsibilities

• Attend to guest needs in the restaurant with friendly, courteous service.
• Answer phones and radio; work with staff to maintain dining areas, set up and bus tables as needed.
• Work on the floor or in the kitchen to ensure smooth operation.
• Assist in training of staff and provide feedback.
• Enforce health and safety regulations for restaurant, employees, and guests.
• Ensure cleanliness and operation of restaurant and equipment; follow maintenance programs.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Responsibilities

The expected pay range is $21.50/hr - $26.88/hr. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
