Goodwin Recruiting is assisting in finding an experienced Chef to lead the kitchen in Portsmouth, NH. This hands-on role requires building and motivating a culinary team, ensuring top-quality, consistent food in a high-volume scratch kitchen.

You will oversee daily operations, hire and train staff, uphold food safety, and maintain inventory and kitchen organization while delivering an excellent guest experience.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of current full-service, scratch kitchen leadership experience.
• Experience with restaurants with $3M+ sales.
• Able to diligently follow recipe books.
• Hands-on leadership style with a proven ability to develop and motivate culinary teams.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Commitment to consistency, execution, and operational excellence.
• Strong emotional intelligence.
• Genuine care and passion for people and the industry.
