Qualifications

  • Associate degree from an accredited respiratory therapy program.
  • A minimum of 6 months of experience in a skilled nursing facility setting.
  • Current license as a Respiratory Therapist as required by the state of Tennessee.
  • National Provider BLS or CPR - American Heart Association upon hire

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate, treat, and care for patients with respiratory or cardiopulmonary disorders.
  • Lead and manage the new pulmonary program with compliant documentation.
  • Assess patients and administer doctor-recommended respiratory therapy treatments.
  • Inspect, test, maintain, and operate respiratory therapy equipment.
  • Instruct and supervise respiratory technicians; ensure timely, legible documentation; respond to emergencies
