Job summary

Providence Swedish is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to support diagnosis and treatment using various respiratory care equipment. You will care for adult, pediatric and neonatal patients, serving as a resource for staff and potentially training colleagues.

A Washington license and BLS/ACLS/PALS are required or completed within stated timelines. We offer a comprehensive benefit package and emphasize patient-focused, whole-person care.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of an accredited respiratory therapy educational program sufficient to qualify for licensure in Washington State.
• Washington Respiratory Care Practitioner License upon hire.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
• National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association within 90 days of hire
• National Provider PALS - American Heart Association within 90 days of hire

Responsibilities

• Sets up and operates respiratory care equipment for diagnosis and treatment.
• May work with adult, pediatric and neonatal patient populations.
• Acts as a resource person for other employees and may train or communicate instructions.
• Performs minor scheduling and inspects work for quality and safety.
• Serves as a contact person in the absence of a supervisor.
