Job summary

Providence Swedish is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to operate and oversee respiratory care equipment across adult, pediatric and neonatal patients.

Washington State licensure is required, along with BLS, ACLS, and PALS upon hire or within specified timelines. The role includes collaboration with the care team, training others, and serving as a resource in the absence of supervision.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of an accredited respiratory therapy educational program sufficient to qualify for licensure in Washington State.

Responsibilities

• Sets up and operates respiratory care equipment for diagnosis and treatment.
• Acts as a resource person for other employees and may train or communicate instructions.
• Serves as a contact person in the absence of a supervisor.
• Provides care for adult, pediatric and neonatal patient populations.
• Works to ensure compliance with hospital policies and quality standards.
