Job summary

Avera St Mary's Hospital in Sioux Center, IA is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to perform, evaluate, and coordinate diagnostic and therapeutic procedures across neonatal, pediatric, and adult populations in intermediate, ICU and emergency settings.

You will serve as a resource to department staff and assist with orientation. Requires active state license, NBRC credentials (RRT/CRT) and an Associate's degree, with Bachelor's preferred and 1–3 years of CC experience.

Qualifications

• Must have visual acuity to perform duties and communicate effectively.
• Ability to hear, understand and distinguish speech and other sounds.

Responsibilities

• Develops unit goals and objectives.
• Reviews operating policies and procedures.
• Reviews patient plans of care with direct caregivers and offers interventions to improve care quality.
• Communicates with staff and provides timely feedback to leadership.
• Serves as a resource to department staff and assists with orientation.
