Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking a Full Time Lead Respiratory Therapist in Austin, TX. You will provide advanced respiratory care and serve as the clinical leader for the Respiratory Therapy Department, overseeing daily cardiopulmonary operations and coordinating patient care in accordance with physician orders and hospital policies.

The role requires 3–5 years of acute care respiratory therapy experience, licenses and NBRC credentials, and leadership experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Requires graduate of an accredited respiratory therapy program.
• Current NBRC RRT credential.
• Current Texas RCP license.
• Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Current AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Current AHA Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced respiratory care services.
• Serve as clinical leader for the Respiratory Therapy Department.
• Oversee daily cardiopulmonary operations and coordinate patient care activities.
• Mentor staff and promote clinical excellence.
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff and other healthcare professionals for optimal outcomes.
