Job summary

Froedtert Health in Milwaukee, WI, is seeking a Respiratory Care Practitioner II for an on-site night shift role. The RCP2 will manage respiratory care, perform assessments, and lead as needed under the Pulmonary Services leadership team.

Requirements include an associate degree in respiratory care, Wisconsin state licensure (RRT preferred; CRT accepted before 7/1/21), ACLS/BLS, and 1 year of experience with 2+ years preferred. PTO, career growth, and tuition assistance are among the benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience: 1 year minimum with potential to demonstrate RCP II competency within 6 months.
• Preferred: 2+ years in hospital respiratory care.
• Education: CoARC-accredited respiratory care program required; bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional respiratory care to patients in acute and critical care areas.
• Perform assessments and deliver procedures with clinical leadership and critical thinking.
• Act as lead therapist when required and precept students on rotation.
