Job summary

Waunakee Remodeling, Inc. is seeking a Project Manager to oversee residential remodeling projects from inception through completion in Waunakee, WI. You will coordinate with clients, designers, sales, and carpenters to ensure projects meet time, budget, and quality standards.

The role involves creating scope worksheets, attending design meetings, on-site measurements, and leading kick-off and pre-construction meetings. A strong background in construction and licensing is required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Project Manager in residential remodeling or construction.
• Comprehensive knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build relationships.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools is preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree or 2+ years related experience.
• A valid Wisconsin Driver’s License with an excellent driving record is required.

Responsibilities

• Use information from sales consultants to create accurate scope worksheets from vendor quotes.
• Participate in Design Agreement Meetings to review new scope worksheets.
• Meet onsite for Tech Measure with sales team and customers to finalize measurements.
• Collaborate with designers to detail project scope and drawings.
• Schedule Onsite Pre-Construction Meetings with subcontractors to align scope.
• Manage projects professionally and maintain a boutique customer experience.
• Build project schedules, write Change Orders and Purchase Orders.
• Lead meetings with designers and expeditors to track status.
• Provide support to Expeditors as needed.
