New York State Office of Mental Health seeks a Residential Program Manager 3 to oversee community residence operations at Buffalo Psychiatric Center. Responsible for supervising direct care staff and coordinating admission/discharge planning to ensure quality care.

You will monitor program effectiveness, respond to emergencies, and drive improvements in resident services while ensuring regulatory compliance and safety. This role requires leadership within a state service framework.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 3 years of experience working with individuals diagnosed with mental illness, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or administrative capacity and 1 year in a residential setting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee admission and discharge planning for residents.
• Supervise and direct activities of clinical and direct care staff.
• Assess residential programs and adjust to meet residents’ needs.
