Waldmann Construction in northern Wisconsin seeks a Mason to lead residential custom masonry projects. You will lay foundations, build CMU walls, fireplaces, and stone features, and set up precise site layouts from plans.

This role emphasizes craftsmanship, safety, and collaboration within a locally rooted team. Requires 2–5 years masonry experience, valid driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and onsite travel within 30 miles.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–5 years of hands-on masonry experience in residential or light commercial construction.
• Ability to read building plans and set up complex layouts.
• Valid driver’s license and capability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Execute site layouts for footings, walls, and decorative CMUs from plans.
• Build structural and decorative masonry elements like fireplaces and stone features.
• Pour and hand finish concrete to elevations with level checks.
• Operate site transit, scaffold safely, and maintain site efficiency and safety.
• Coordinate with crew and project managers to streamline materials and timelines.
• Track project progress and verify timely deliveries to meet benchmarks.
