Job summary

Link Service Heating & Cooling in Altoona, PA is seeking an Experienced Residential HVAC Installer / Lead Installer to join our family-owned team. You will install and start up residential heating and cooling equipment with a focus on quality, safety, and outstanding customer service.

We require 3+ years of installation experience, EPA 608 certification, a valid driver's license, and the ability to lead and mentor junior installers.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on HVAC installation experience in residential settings.
• Strong knowledge of residential heating and cooling equipment.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• EPA Section 608 certification for refrigerant work.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Install residential HVAC equipment including furnaces, ACs, heat pumps, boilers, and ductless systems.
• Complete installations safely and per codes and manufacturer specs.
• Perform ductwork, piping, venting, condensate drainage, and related tasks.
• Conduct system startup, testing, and verification.
• Troubleshoot installation issues and mentor less-experienced installers.
• Lead installations based on experience and abilities.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and treat homes with care.
• Communicate professionally with customers and team.
