Job summary

IES is seeking an experienced Residential Electric Technician to lead and perform residential rough-in installations, service, troubleshooting, and repair. You will mentor crew members, review project plans, and ensure work complies with safety standards and electrical codes.

The role requires strong knowledge of residential systems, blueprints, and codes, and involves coordinating with supervisors, vendors, and other trades on active construction sites.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of residential electrical systems and rough-in installation methods.
• Ability to lead, train, and mentor residential electrical crews.
• Experience reading blueprints, plans, and specifications; interpret codes.

Responsibilities

• Lead residential rough-in crews, ensuring safety, quality, and schedules.
• Train and mentor electricians on codes, standards, and installation methods.
• Coordinate activities with project plans, orders, and field management.
• Inspect rough-in work for quality and code compliance.
