Job summary

Williams Contracting is seeking an experienced Residential Construction Superintendent to lead day-to-day field operations on custom home and remodeling projects in Olympia, WA. You will coordinate subcontractors, manage sequencing, monitor quality, and keep projects moving safely and professionally.

This hands-on leadership role requires organizing jobsites, maintaining finishes, and clear communication with homeowners and the project team.

Qualifications

• Strong residential construction experience.
• Experience as a Superintendent or similar field leadership role.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural plans, structural drawings, specifications, and construction details.
• Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation.
• Willingness to travel between local jobsites.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily jobsite operations across assigned residential projects.
• Coordinate subcontractors, internal crews, deliveries, inspections, and upcoming work.
• Maintain clean, organized, professional jobsites and ensure trades understand expectations.
• Identify field problems early and collaborate with the project team to resolve them.
• Keep projects moving efficiently while maintaining quality and safety.
• Communicate schedule updates and field priorities clearly with the office team.
