Williams Contracting is seeking a dependable Construction Driver & Field Laborer to join our residential construction team in Olympia, WA. This hands-on role blends driving, material handling, site organization, and general construction support to keep projects moving efficiently.

You will load/unload materials, assist field crews, and maintain clean, safe jobsites while meeting project needs on a full-time daytime schedule.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.

Williams Contracting is looking for a dependable Construction Driver & Field Laborer to support our custom residential construction team.

This is a hands-on role that combines driving, material handling, site organization, and general construction support. You will help move materials, assist field crews, keep jobsites clean and organized, and make sure the team has what it needs to keep work progressing efficiently.

What You'll Be Doing

Driving & Material Support

• Transport tools, materials, equipment, and supplies between jobsites and other locations as needed
• Load and unload building materials safely and efficiently
• Help organize materials before and after delivery
• Make sure materials and equipment arrive where they are needed

• Assist with pickups, deliveries, and other field support tasks

Jobsite Labor

• Assist carpenters and field crews with general construction tasks
• Move and stage materials throughout the jobsite

• Keep work areas clear, safe, and organized
• Assist with basic construction tasks as directed by field leadership

Jobsite Organization

• Maintain clean and professional jobsites
• Help organize tools, materials, and equipment
• Remove debris and keep access areas clear
• Protect materials and finished surfaces
• Help prepare work areas for upcoming trades and activities

Safety & Professionalism

• Follow company safety procedures and jobsite requirements
• Use tools and equipment responsibly
• Report unsafe conditions or damaged equipment
• Represent Williams Contracting professionally while driving and working on client properties
• Follow direction from supervisors and communicate clearly with the team

What We're Looking For

Required
