Job summary

Pat Scales Remodeling in Columbus, Ohio is seeking an experienced residential carpenter to join our in-person, full-time team. You will perform framing, cabinetry installation, trim work, and other skilled carpentry while reading blueprints and coordinating with project managers and inspectors.

Ideal candidates will have 5+ years of residential carpentry, mentoring experience, and a valid driver’s license with the ability to travel between local project sites.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of residential carpentry or remodeling experience.
• Ability to read blueprints and construction drawings.
• Experience mentoring or coordinating other carpenters or field team members.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to travel between local project sites.
• Strong problem-solving and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Perform framing, cabinetry installation, trim carpentry, finish carpentry, and other residential construction work.
• Read and interpret blueprints, construction drawings, and project specifications.
• Coordinate with inspectors as needed and lead carpentry crews.
• Mentor apprentice and junior carpenters and support their development.
• Maintain accurate job-site documentation, including labor hours and material usage.
• Keep work areas organized and projects progressing efficiently.
