Peace River Center in Lakeland, FL seeks a Lead Technician to uphold a therapeutic, safe residential environment and to support residents in recovery. The role requires strong communication, team leadership, and the ability to supervise peers and manage daily activities.

The position includes transporting clients, assisting with meals, and ensuring documentation aligns with safety standards. CPR/First Aid, medication administration, and ACT training are required or pursued on hire.

Qualificações

• Associate's degree preferred or two years' experience working with persons with mental illness and/or co-occurring disorders.
• At least two years of experience working with persons with a mental illness or co-occurring disorders and experience in management or able to lead peers.
• Must complete CPR, First Aid, Medication Administration, and ACT training.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, and adapt to change.
• Must be able to learn basic computer skills and use an EHR system.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain a therapeutic and safe environment for adult residents in residential treatment.
• Provide supervision and role modeling to residents and peers.
• Transport clients as needed and assist in meals and daily activities.
• Facilitate weekly meetings, outings, and groups with residents.
• Complete daily tasks and shift responsibilities; be on-site as required.
