Job summary

Peace River Center is seeking a Lead Technician to maintain a therapeutic, safe environment and support the interdisciplinary treatment team. The role includes supervising staff, coordinating daily schedules, and ensuring client safety during crises.

Candidates may be required to transport patients and must meet driving requirements. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, with 2 years direct care experience preferred and a current BHT certificate preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of High School Diploma or GED.
• 2 years of direct care experience preferred.
• Current Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) certificate preferred.
• Computer skills: Microsoft Office and Credible.

Responsibilities

• Lead the daily client program schedule and ensure activities are meaningful and aligned with policies.
• Coordinate patient needs with Charge Nurse and assign Team Tech tasks.
• Review admission paperwork for proper signatures before shift end.
• Provide oversight and supervision to Inpatient Techs as needed.
• Assist with activities of daily living and promote independence.
• Apply ACT interventions during confrontations to ensure safety.
• Document observations promptly and accurately in CSU records.
• Assist with day treatment activities and therapeutic groups.
