Job summary

Distinctive Living in Brick Township, NJ is seeking a Resident Care Coordinator (Full-Time) for our Mira Vie at Brick community. This role oversees resident care within the Assisted Living setting and supervises care staff to ensure respectful, person-centered service.

You will coordinate with medical professionals and families, manage service plans, and monitor regulatory compliance while fostering a homelike environment and teamwork across the community.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate or Bachelor's Degree strongly preferred in a field related to this position.
• Must have prior supervisory/management experience.
• Minimum three years' experience in assisted living or memory care preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must possess state certifications: CHHA/CNA & Certified Med-Tech.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates residents prior to residency per state regulations or with change of condition.
• Communicates with residents, family, and staff to meet resident needs and updates service plans.
• Screens, hires, trains, and supervises Care Partner staff and activity staff, ensuring annual training compliance.
• Verifies hours and prepares care staff schedules to meet resident needs and budget.
• Coordinates service plans and conducts care conferences with residents and families.
• Monitors medication administration and conducts audits of medication sheets.
• Assists in medication management and ensures proper storage and documentation.
