Job summary

Bosch is seeking a Research Scientist in Vision-Language-Action (VLA) Models to drive research for Embodied AI in ADAS/AD and robotics. You will push end-to-end perception, multimodal reasoning, and system integration across Bosch platforms.

Required are 3+ years R&D in AI/vision/robotics, a PhD or Master+2 years, and proficiency in Python/C++/Rust with TensorFlow or PyTorch. RL experience and strong publication history are valued.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Computer Science, Robotics or related field or Master+2 years industry research.
• 3+ years R&D experience in AI, CV, robotics or autonomous planning.
• Proficiency in Python, C++, or Rust.
• Familiarity with major ML frameworks (TensorFlow or PyTorch).
• Hands-on RL experience (PPO, DQN, DDPG) and publications in ML/vision/robotics.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research in AI/ML to enable Embodied AI for ADAS/AD, automation, robotics.
• Advance end-to-end perception and planning with multimodal models for reasoning and explainability.
• Collaborate with global teams to transfer and integrate tech.
• Implement research results into Bosch platforms ensuring high-quality integration.
• Publish findings and contribute to patents and conferences.
