Job summary

The Building People, LLC seeks a Research Equipment Maintenance Lead to oversee preventive and corrective maintenance of lasers, environmental chambers, vacuum chambers, microscopes, and network servers, supporting the AFRL Materials and Manufacturing Directorate (RX).

The role requires extensive DoD facility maintenance and supervisory experience, with background screening and potential government clearance. On-site work at government facilities and labs is expected.

Qualifications

• At least 10 years of DoD Facility Maintenance experience.
• At least 5 years of DoD Facility Management supervisor experience.
• Ability to obtain a favorable background investigation and CAC.

Responsibilities

• Supervise maintenance activities on specialized research and laboratory equipment.
• Coordinate with Scientists and Engineers to keep their focus on RDT&E by managing facility and equipment issues on their behalf.
• Maintain equipment records, technical orders, and inspection documentation.
