Job summary

St. Jude Children's Research Hospital is seeking an Associate Director of Agreements to lead the negotiation, drafting, and management of a broad portfolio of research, technology transfer, and industry engagement agreements aligned with scientific and clinical objectives.

The role collaborates with investigators, legal counsel, and external partners to ensure IP protection, compliance, and successful commercialization while supporting strategic initiatives and sustainable operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• Ten years of experience in industry or academia with a Bachelor's.
• Eight years of experience with a Master's or similar degree.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate, draft, review, and manage a broad range of agreements ( MTAs, DTAs, CDAs/NDAs, collaboration and consulting agreements).
• Partner with investigators, legal counsel, and stakeholders to ensure IP protection, compliance, and commercialization goals.
• Monitor and administer executed agreements for compliance with obligations, milestones, and financial terms.
• Support IP management activities and patent-related processes with inventors and counsel.
• Develop and improve agreement processes, templates, and workflows.
• Represent the institution in professional organizations and industry forums.
