Job summary

Quest Global in Lansing, MI seeks a Repair Engineer to lead repair projects for ground test equipment, overseeing the full lifecycle from assessment to execution. You will collaborate with customers, develop repair strategies, and prepare work plans with cost estimates.

This on-site role requires travel up to 50% to support repairs at customer sites. Ideal candidates bring a STEM degree with extensive repair experience, strong composites knowledge, and hands-on mechanical design skills.

Qualifications

• STEM degree required with extensive repair/project experience.
• Experience leading repairs for ground test equipment or similar.
• Strong understanding of composites, bonding and manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate damage and develop repairs to restore to original specs.
• Scope and inspect damage conditions with customers before quoting/parts arrival.
• Develop project schedules and cost estimates for repair jobs.
• Present technical information to internal and external customers.
• Create repair work instructions and identify materials for repairs.
