Job summary

RessaBuilt is seeking an experienced Project Manager for high-end remodel carpentry in Indiana. The role entails overseeing schedules, budgets, subcontractors, and safety on site, with regular client meetings and builder-trend reporting.

The candidate should have 3+ years in residential remodeling or custom home building, a HS diploma (Bachelor's preferred), and strong communication skills to coordinate with architects, homeowners, and trades. We offer PTO, holidays, 401K, and insurance options.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred (Architecture, Building Sciences, Engineering or Construction Management).
• Certificate programs can substitute for a degree.
• NARI certification is a plus but not required.
• 3+ years in Residential Remodeling or Custom Home Building is a MUST.
• Knowledge of codes, safety, and construction methods.
• Experience managing trades and crews.
• Ability to read complex docs and plans.
• Strong communication with homeowners and contractors.

Responsibilities

• Manage scheduling, budgets, and permits with the Pre-production Department.
• Bid and contract with subcontractors; schedule deliveries.
• Develop master calendar; provide weekly updates with photos via BuilderTrend.
• Monitor project profitability and collaborate with other PMs.
• Lead safety and ensure work meets plans and codes.
• Conduct client/consultant meetings; schedule jurisdiction inspections.
