Job summary

Hydro in North America is seeking a Remelt Maintenance Supervisor to direct installation, maintenance and repair of machines and equipment in a heavy industrial setting. You will lead the maintenance team, schedule activities and ensure alignment with the production plan to maximize uptime.

Responsibilities include developing preventative maintenance programs, troubleshooting issues, updating SOPs and training junior staff, while maintaining safety and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5+ years of mechanical or electrical maintenance in a heavy industrial or foundry environment.
• Strong technical understanding across electrical, mechanical, hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Ability to learn CMMS and Oracle software.

Responsibilities

• Direct and support installation, maintenance and repair of machines, tools and equipment.
• Schedule repairs and maintenance, aligning with production demands.
• Develop preventative maintenance programs and update SOPs.
• Troubleshoot and perform root-cause analyses; train team members.
• Maintain inventory of tools, spare parts and equipment.
• Ensure safety practices are followed and documented.
• Complete work orders accurately and timely.
