Mayo Clinic is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Med Surg Lead for a nursing job in Barron, Wisconsin. The role includes coordination of nursing care, patient/family education, transitions of care, and leadership responsibilities such as acting as a formal and informal leader on the unit and collaborating with management.

This position offers a $7,500 hiring bonus for external new hires. The RN will support professional nursing practice across settings, support quality improvement efforts, and may participate in committees or projects. The role also involves acting as a RN Relief Team Lead, covering for the primary team lead, and may require driving a personal vehicle.

This role is eligible for TN sponsorship, requiring state licensure and completion of the VisaScreen or equivalent certification. Candidates must be graduates of a nursing program, with at least one year of RN experience in an applicable care setting.

Additional Qualifications: One year of RN or LPN experience preferred. Excellent communication skills, teamwork experience, computer proficiency, and flexibility to work various shifts are required. Demonstrated leadership and critical thinking skills are essential.

License or Certification: Current RN license per state requirements, BLS certification from AHA or ARC, and additional licensure or certifications as required.
