The University of Miami seeks a Registered Nurse 2 to deliver patient-family centered care across diverse patient populations, guided by evidence-based standards of safety and quality. You will supervise nursing and allied staff, coordinate plans with physicians, administer medications, and support discharge planning while adhering to HIPAA and institutional policies.

A BSN, RN license, BLS, and at least two years of nursing experience are required; exceptional communication and interpersonal

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing required.
• Registered Nurse license required.
• BLS Certification required.
• Minimum 2 years nursing experience.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Knowledge of nursing care methods and procedures.
• Knowledge of health and safety guidelines and procedures.
• Excellent patient experience skills; ability to recognize, analyze, and solve problems.
• Ability to maintain effective interpersonal relationships.
• Ability to communicate effectively in oral and written form.

Responsabilités

• Assess patients and document nursing care plans.
• Report symptoms and changes in patient condition and vital signs.
• Modify treatment plans based on patients' responses and physician orders.
• Review and report diagnostic tests to evaluate patient condition.
• Consult with physicians and other health professionals to plan and implement care.
• Prepare patients for examinations and procedures.
• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care and information respecting age and culture.
• Administer medications and maintain accurate medication/treatment records.
• Communicate plan of care to patient, family, and team in HIPAA-compliant manner.
• Assist with discharge planning and transition of care.
