Job summary

Lead RN Karcher Clinic in Nampa is seeking a Lead Practice Nurse to provide clinical leadership and hands-on patient care in a busy family medicine and urgent care setting.

You will coordinate back office staff, ensure compliance with Joint Commission, OSHA, CLIA and state safety standards, manage staff education and scheduling, and partner with providers and clinic managers to deliver high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of nursing experience, preferably in a physician office setting.
• Management experience is a plus.
• RN license in Idaho; Oregon licensure within six months of starting.

Lead RN Karcher Clinic Full Time Days

We are looking to hire a Lead Practice Nurse in Nampa at our Karcher Family Medicine (https://www.saintalphonsus.org/location/saint-alphonsus-nampa-karcher-family-medicine) and Urgent Care (https://www.saintalphonsus.org/location/saint-alphonsus-nampa-karcher-urgent-care) clinic! The clinic is located at 11035 West Karcher Road and provides convenient care to close to home for west Nampa residents and surrounding communities. We have a strong & collaborative team, supportive providers, and a clinical culture that prioritizes taking care of our patients while also ensuring our staff feel supported, appreciated, and connected. In this role, you will provide clinical leadership and support within the clinic and throughout the network. This is also considered a working RN position, meaning you will still provide some patient care, including Triage, working alongside clinic staff.

Typical days include coordination of all back office staff and acting as liaison between support staff, physician and clinic managers/administrators. You will conduct routine staff meetings, scheduling, clinical competencies, staff education, etc. and be responsible for Joint Commission, OSHA, CLIA and State radiological safety standards as well as any other local, state or federal mandates. You will assist in preparing operational budgets yearly, and have authority to purchase day-to-day medical/surgical supplies, as well as helping to assess capital equipment needs yearly.

Schedule: M-F 7am-4pm Mon-Fri flexibility in time

General Requirements:

• Minimum of two years of nursing experience required, preferably in a physician office setting
• Management experiences a plus

Education:

• An associate or bachelor's degree from a nursing program accredited by ACEN or CCNE

License/Certification:

• Must have an RN license in the state of Idaho issued prior to hire date.
• Must provide licensure or proof of application in the State of Oregon within six months of starting
• Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers certification from either AHA, ARC or the Military Training Network is required at hire
