Job summary

Saint Alphonsus Health System in Boise, Idaho is seeking a Part-Time Registered Nurse for the Cardiovascular Surgery team. You will provide hands-on patient care, collaborate with colleagues, educate patients and families, document accurately, and advocate for safety, comfort, and holistic well-being throughout the clinical workflow.

The ideal candidate has at least one year of circulating experience, is Idaho-licensed as a Registered Nurse, and holds BLS certification.

Qualifications

We are looking to hire a Part Time Registered Nurse within Cardiovascular Surgery in Boise.

About this position: As an RN at Saint Alphonsus Health System, you will provide hands-on patient care while collaborating with colleagues, maintaining accurate documentation, and utilizing resources wisely. You will serve as a patient advocate by promoting their physical, spiritual, and emotional well-being. You will also be expected to educate patients, administer prescribed medications and treatments, and develop care plans based on patient needs.

About our ideal candidate : Our ideal candidate will have at least a year of circulating experience and will have a desire to work in a fast-paced exciting team environment.

• Must be licensed in the State of Idaho as a Registered Nurse as defined by the Idaho State Board of Nursing.
• Multistate licenses must establish residency with the Idaho Board of Nursing within 60 days from hire.
• At hire, Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross is required. (ACLS and/or PALS may be accepted in lieu of BLS.

A6293 - Advanced Specialty

1. Able to circulate all basic and at least two complex cases as an expert like Davinci Robotics, Neurology, or Cardiology at the Level 2 Trauma center, able to scrub general specialties (this also encompasses RN-FAs), acts as a role model, and is a preceptor and mentor for all employees.
