Northwell Health in New York is seeking a registered nurse to provide age-specific plans of care across a designated patient group, following the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate care.

The role collaborates with physicians and the health team, uses leadership and clinical judgment to coordinate care, delegate tasks, and support discharge planning while ensuring patient safety and quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing; BSN preferred.
• Must obtain BSN within five years of employment.
• Current license to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State.
• BCLS, ACLS preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of critical care/PACU/ED experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Assesses patients' physiologic health status and plan of care.
• Collaborates with physicians and health team to implement procedures and treatments.
• Coordinates and delegates activities on the patient care unit to ensure efficient operations.
• Maintains accurate documentation of patient conditions, treatments and responses.
• Administers medications correctly and safely and educates patients and families.

Formation

Bachelor's Degree in Nursing

BSN preferred

Current NYS RN license

BCLS, ACLS preferred

Minimum 2 years of critical care/PACU/ED experience preferred
