HHS, LLC seeks a Lead Registered Dietitian to join Mercy Health St Elizabeth Boardman Hospital in Boardman, OH. You will manage a team of dietitians and guide medical nutrition therapy to support patient healing and satisfaction.

Responsibilities include assessments, education for staff and patients, and ensuring regulatory compliance while fostering a collaborative clinical environment.

Qualifications

• Registered Dietitian with Commission on Dietetic Registration and licensed per state regulations.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Food and Nutrition or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in a related field.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards.
• Computer experience with word processing, spreadsheets, and various software.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 2+ registered dietitians and oversee hiring, scheduling, training, coaching, and counseling.
• Provide leadership that fosters morale, quality and respect within the team.
• Perform nutritional assessments and interventions for inpatient and outpatient care.
• Educate patients, families, nursing, food service, and staff on nutritional needs.
• Coordinate nutritional support training for the patient service ambassador team.
• Manage clinical QAPI projects and collaborate across departments to meet goals.
• Document patient assessments and nutritional goals in medical records.
• Communicate with physicians and clinical staff on nutrition status and orders.
• Attend patient rounds and maintain nutrition policies for regulatory compliance.
