Job description

Premier Dental Center Bulverde, located in Spring Branch, TX, is a general dentistry clinic dedicated to providing exceptional patient care and fostering a supportive team environment. We are seeking a passionate and skilled Lead Registered Dental Assistant for a full-time position, working Monday through Thursday. This role supports our dentist chairside and ensures a smooth workflow in our practice. The ideal candidate has a strong commitment to patient care, excellent teamwork skills, and a drive for continuous improvement.

Schedule:

Monday-Thursday, 8:30 am - 5:00 pm, Full Time - 30 hours

Responsibilities Include:
  1. Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and materials.
  2. Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures such as fillings, crowns, implants, dentures, extractions, etc.
  3. Ensure patient comfort throughout procedures.
  4. Greet and prepare patients for their visits.
  5. Explain procedures and answer patient questions.
  6. Record and update patient medical histories and personal information.
  7. Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
  8. Perform preliminary assessments, including measuring blood pressure.
  9. Schedule patient appointments.
  10. Maintain accurate and confidential patient records.
  11. Monitor and order dental supplies and equipment.
  12. Ensure the dental operatory is stocked and organized.
  13. Follow infection control and sterilization protocols.
  14. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dental operatory and office.
  15. Collaborate closely with the dentist and team to ensure workflow efficiency.
  16. Assist in training and mentoring new staff members.
  17. Provide oral hygiene and post-treatment care information to patients.
  18. Educate patients on preventive dental care.
  19. Respond to dental emergencies and provide basic first aid as needed.
  20. Stay updated with the latest dental technologies, procedures, and regulations.
  21. Participate in continuing education and training opportunities.

Requirements:
  • Registered Dental Assistant in TX required
  • 3+ years of experience as a RDA required
  • Reliable transportation
  • Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
  • Understanding of health & safety regulations
  • Ability to perform surgical and nonsurgical tasks
  • Strong computer skills; Denticon preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail, well-organized, reliable
  • High school diploma; dental assistant school preferred
  • Bilingual in Spanish a plus
Compensation:

Hourly rate: $23-$26/hr
