Job summary

ABA Centers of Washington in Lynnwood, WA seeks a Lead Registered Behavior Technician (Lead RBT) for full-time engagement. Compensation ranges from 75,000 to 80,000 per year and final pay is based on experience, training, and education.

Active BACB RBT certification is required, with opportunities to advance into leadership roles within ABA services. The Lead RBT will coordinate clinic schedules, support RBTs with data and teaching strategies, and ensure services run smoothly.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience working with children and/or youths in education or ABA therapy (preferred).
• Active RBT certification through the BACB board.
• 2-year degree or more (preferred).
• 1 year of experience training others (preferred).
• Availability during after-hours, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to maintain clean background/drug screenings and driving record.
• Reliable transportation (your own vehicle), a driver's license, and car insurance.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day clinic schedule with RBT Supervisor and Director of Operations.
• Ensure RBTs have time to complete billing and administrative duties.
• Assist with data collection and completion.
• Mentor RBTs and cover for callouts to minimize missed services.
• Maintain client and staff safety as extra support for the clinic.
• Use discrete trial teaching and pivotal response treatment procedures to teach skills.

ABA Centers provides ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) therapy and diagnostic services to people with autism. We help clients and families in our centers, in homes, and in the community. What You’ll Do

• Coordinate the day-to-day schedule of the clinic and maximize clinic productivity with RBT Supervisor and Director of Operations
• Ensure that RBTs have time to complete billing and administrative duties

• Use specified procedures to implement discrete trial teaching
• Teach and generalize skills in the natural environment using formal procedures
• Use strategies of pivotal response treatment
• Use formal procedures to increase verbal behavior

Education/Experience and Other Requirements

• 3+ years of experience working with children and/or youths in education or ABA therapy (preferred)
• Active RBT certification through the BACB board
• 2-year degree or more (preferred)
• 1 year of experience training others (preferred)
