Job summary

ICBD’s ABA Centers of America in Massachusetts is hiring a Lead Registered Behavior Technician (Lead RBT) to supervise and support RBT staff in a busy clinic in Braintree, MA. This full-time role advances your RBT career while ensuring high-quality services for children and families.

You will coordinate daily clinic schedules, mentor RBTs, lead data collection and implementation of discrete trial teaching, and help expand our ABA program through training and collaboration with the operations

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience working with children and/or youths in education or ABA therapy (preferred).
  • RBT certification is preferred/required.
  • 2-year degree or higher preferred.
  • 1 year of experience training others (preferred).
  • Availability during after-hours, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the day-to-day schedule of the clinic and maximize clinic productivity with RBT Supervisor and Director of Operations.
  • Ensure that RBTs have time to complete billing and administrative duties.
  • Assist with data completion.
  • Aid RBTs with learners.
  • Cover for callouts to minimize missed services.
  • Maintain client and staff safety as extra support person for the clinic.
  • Serve as mentor to RBTs.
  • Use specified procedures to implement discrete trial teaching.
  • Teach and generalize skills in the natural environment using formal procedures.
  • Use strategies of pivotal response treatment.
  • Use formal procedures to increase verbal behavior.

Education/Experience and Other Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience working with children and/or youths in education or ABA therapy (preferred)
  • RBT certification
  • 2-year degree or more (preferred)
  • 1 year of experience training others (preferred)
  • Availability during after-hours, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to maintain clean background/drug screenings and driving record
  • Reliable transportation (your own vehicle), a driver’s license, and car insurance
