Job summary

Compleat KiDZ in Winston-Salem, NC is seeking a Lead RBT to provide one-on-one behavioral interventions to teach communication, social, and daily living skills and to reduce challenging behaviors in children across all environments. ABA services are delivered in our pediatric therapy clinics and guided by a BCBA.

You will collaborate with BCBA, coordinate onboarding, training, scheduling, and clinic operations, and help foster a positive work environment while ensuring accurate session

Qualifications

• RBT certification, First Aid certification, and CPR certification required.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Flexibility is required.

Responsibilities

• Follow behavior intervention and skill acquisition plans with integrity.
• Coordinate onboarding of RBTs with relevant individuals.
• Identify RBTs needing additional training and coordinate with BCBA.
• Demonstrate proficiency with KURE and ReThink tools.
• Coordinate clinic opening/closing and scheduling basics.
• Communicate session information from RBTs to the BCBA.
• Relay family-related information to BCBA/Parent Advocate.
• Oversee daily clinic operations (supplies, maintenance, stimuli system).
• Participate in daily callouts and staff communications.
• Support treatment integrity and progress for RBT development.

Job description

Come help us help individuals and the families of those with disabilities and special needs live their best lives! The Lead RBT will provide one on one behavioral interventions to teach communication, social, and daily living skills and to reduce challenging behaviors to children across all environments. RBT's will use interventions written by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and based on the science of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). ABA services will be provided in our Compleat KiDZ Pediatric Therapy clinics.

Job Responsibilities

• Follow behavior intervention and skill acquisition plans with integrity
• Coordinate all aspects of RBT onboarding with relevant individuals
• Identify RBT's who may need additional training and coordinates with relevant BCBA
• Shows proficiency to use and teach KURE and ReThink
• Demonstrates a basic understating of scheduling
• Coordinate closing and opening the clinic when needed
• Communicate all relevant information from sessions to the BCBA
• Relays any relevant information related to families to BCBA/Parent Advocate
• Coordinates daily aspects of the general day to day running of the clinic (supplies, ordering, maintenance, generalizing stimuli system, etc)
• Will be one of the individuals receiving daily callouts
• Recognizing and teaching in the moment skills that are required to promote treatment integrity, progress, and RBT skill development
• Responsible for helping to foster a positive work environment

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; run with/after children, use hands to assist patients in standing/sitting; reach with hands and arms; and have the agility to regularly and quickly transition from sitting on gym floor to standing and directing patients. Lifting, pushing, pulling up to 25lbs are also required.

Working Environment

This job operates in an outpatient clinic environment. Travel between clinics may be required if RBT is servicing more than one clinic.
