Job summary
Perdue Farms is seeking a Refrigeration and Utilities Lead for the 2nd shift in Lewiston Woodville, NC. This role oversees ammonia refrigeration and utilities operations, guiding technicians to deliver reliable maintenance performance while upholding safety standards.
The ideal candidate has extensive industrial maintenance experience, strong hydraulics/mechanics/electrical concepts, and RETA certifications. Leadership, communication, and drive for process improvements are essential.
Qualifications
- Experience maintaining industrial refrigeration and utilities systems.
- Proven leadership能力 to coach technicians and drive improvements.
- Strong knowledge of hydraulics, mechanics, electrical concepts and PLCs.
- Retain RETA certifications and OSHA HazMat familiarity is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of Refrigeration/Utilities Technicians to meet productivity goals.
- Provide real time direction and coaching; oversee onboarding of new staff.
- Plan resources and staffing; drive continuous improvement and safety.
- Maintain documentation, reports and adherence to Perdue policies.
