Job summary

Parkland Health & Hospital System is seeking a Refrigeration Lead to oversee the repair and maintenance of hospital refrigeration systems across the Parkland system. You will monitor, inspect, repair, and install HVAC and related equipment, ensuring safe, efficient operation.

The role requires five years of refrigeration experience, EPA Type I/II certification, and a Texas Class C driver's license. You will lead a team, schedule work, and coordinate with staff, vendors, and management to meet

Qualifications

Must have five (5) years of refrigeration installation and service experience.
Must hold an EPA certification for Refrigeration Transition and Recovery for Type I and II appliances.
Must have a Texas Class C Driver's License.

Responsibilities

Lead the Refrigeration team with scheduling, training, evaluation, and expert leadership for repair and maintenance tasks.
Perform complex repair and preventive maintenance of refrigerators, air conditioners, and related equipment across the system.
Install new A/C units, chillers, and ice machines per code and standards.
Document all work orders and maintain accurate records of maintenance activities.
Maintain positive relationships with management, patients, employees, contractors, and vendors to enhance performance.
