Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on Java development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Apache Flink.
• Experience building real-time streaming and event-driven applications.
• Experience with Kafka and distributed systems.
• Flink DataStream API, event-time processing, windowing, state management, checkpointing.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop real-time stream processing applications using Apache Flink and Java.
• Build scalable, high-performance, and fault-tolerant data processing pipelines.
• Develop and maintain applications using Core Java, Java concurrency, and multithreading.
• Work with streaming platforms such as Apache Kafka for real-time data ingestion and processing.
• Implement Flink concepts including DataStreams, event-time processing, windowing, state management, checkpoints, and watermarks.
• Develop solutions for complex event processing and real-time analytics.
• Optimize Flink jobs for performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Integrate streaming applications with databases, APIs, and other enterprise systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application and data processing issues.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following development best practices.
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and solution design.
• Collaborate with architects, data engineers, QA teams, and other stakeholders.
• Support CI/CD processes and automated deployment of applications.
• Create and maintain technical documentation.
